Update Published November 24, 2024

Every Apple iMac, regardless of release date, processor architecture, or display size, is listed below.

First introduced in 1998, and still a current Mac series, the iMac is Apple's longest running Mac line. The iMac was designed as an affordable all-in-one Mac for the consumer market and it has maintained its focus on this market segment, but the hardware itself has evolved several times over the decades.

Among early models, the original iMac G3 (1998-2002) uses PowerPC processors, a translucent "gumdrop" case design, and 15" CRT displays; the iMac G4 (2002-2004) uses PowerPC processors, a white half sphere case, and a flat-panel display mounted on a chromed steel arm; and the iMac G5 (2004-2006) uses PowerPC processors and a "slab" white polycarbonate case design with the computer's innards integrated with a flat-panel display.

More recent Intel iMac models (2006-2022) use Intel processors, flat-panel displays, and either white polycarbonate or silver aluminum all-in-one cases, and the latest, and current, Apple Silicon iMac models (2021-Current) use Apple Silicon processors, flat-panel displays, and largely colorful aluminum case options.

Click on a specific model for its complete technical specs, configuration options, identification details, performance benchmarks, original price in dozens of countries, and more.

If you only are interested in recent iMac models, you may prefer to focus on Apple Silicon iMac models (2021-Current). All Apple Macs additionally may be of interest.

Click on the triangle to the left of a product to open "Quick Specs" -- identifiers and basic configuration details -- and click on the name or image for complete specifications. You also can lookup Macs and other Apple products by their identifiers.

Asterisks indicate that particularly important details are provided on the applicable specs page. Also note that configurations listed are the default or most common; many models have multiple options. Refer to the specs page for full details.
