I think the battery will be fine, but I ended up having to have a professional fix my MacBook Air after I installed the battery and the MacBook wouldn’t boot up. Turned out that I had shorted out the computer. I had followed the instructions perfectly, and had been successful installing two previous batteries in MacBooks a few years ago. From what I understand, MacBooks made after 2018 are extremely hard to work on without shorting them out. You need to wear a special grounding belt.
