Apple Macintosh Performa 550The Apple Macintosh Performa 550 features a 33 MHz 68030 processor, 5 MB of RAM, a 160 MB hard drive, and a 2X CD-ROM drive in a relatively compact all-in-one case with a 14" color display. With the exception of processor speed and configuration options, the Performa 550 is identical to the Performa 520 it replaced.

The educational version of the Performa 550 is the LC 550.
