MacOS-Compatible Systems: Dynamac Dynamac manufactured a pioneering line of "pre-laptop" computers from February 1987 to December 1988, long before MacOS licensing was available, by signing an agreement with Apple to use the ROM and other internal parts from an existing Apple Macintosh. For its time, Dynamac created an amazingly innovative computer, but it did not sell well because of its high price, heavy weight, lack of a battery, and the requirement to use an external mouse. Dynamac went out of business in 1988. |
