Mac Clones: Dynamac: Dynamac EL Specs | Ports

Dynamac

The Dynamac EL (1.) is a revised version of the original Dynamac that uses a black " Cycolac" plastic case instead of metal. Because of the plastic case it weighs 18-pounds, a full 6-pounds lighter than the original, but inside it is basically the same. Based on the Macintosh Plus, it includes all standard Macintosh ports, in addition to phone in and phone out jacks for the internal modem, an "e-machine" jack that can support an external monitor, and an RCA jack that outputs standard NTSC video. There are also several other additions such as a back-lit amber electroluminescent 9" screen, a 20 MB or 40 MB internal hard disk and the option of a 2400-baud modem.
