MacOS-Compatible Systems: Hardware Research Hardware Research sold unauthorized Tsunami-based MacOS-Compatibles primarily in the US market from January 1998 to December 1998. Essentially, Hardware Research purchased Umax MacOS-Compatibles off the shelf and repackaged them in rack-mountable cases. After Umax stopped production of MacOS-Compatibles, Hardware Research stopped selling Umax MacOS-based computers, but continues to repackage some Apple Macs. |
