Mac Upgrade Cards: DayStar/XLR8 On January 1, 2003, Daystar Technology acquired the rights and designs to the XLR8 line of upgrade cards. Since that time, this XLR8-branded line has been improved and expanded. From May 1996 to August 1997, Daystar Digital designed, manufactured, and sold a series of multi-processor MacOS-Compatibles. Daystar also sold a series of upgrade cards in the mid-1990's, but this information is not yet provided on EveryMac.com. If you have additional information on other upgrade cards manufactured and distributed by Daystar, please share. |
