processor with 1 MB of backside cache on a 1.0 GHz backside
bus. The card plugs into the daughtercard slot, replacing
the original daughtercard on the Power
Macintosh 7300,
7500, 7600, 8500, 8600, 9500, and 9600, PowerComputing
models, and the Umax
S900 and J700 series. Includes a "built-in fansink, fail
safe protection circuitry in case the card is not fully
plugged into the CPU slot, and CPU Director software for
adjusting speeds on the fly." Compatible with MacOS 8.6 and
