The PowerLogix PowerForce G4 "233 Series" 800 features an 800 MHz PowerPC 7455 (G4) processor with the AltiVec "Velocity Engine" vector processing unit, 256k level 2 on-chip cache and 2 MB level 3 backside cache. The card plugs into the processor socket provided by AGP-based models in the Power Macintosh G4 series, replacing the original processor card. All upgrade cards in the PowerForce G4 "233" series are designed so that both the bus and backside cache ratios can be adjusted.
