Sonnet Encore/ST G4 Duet

The Sonnet Encore/ST G4 Duet 1.3 GHz features dual 1.3 GHz PowerPC 745x (G4) processors each with the AltiVec "Velocity Engine" vector processing unit and 2 MB of backside Level 3 cache. The card plugs into the G4 daughtercard slot provided by the AGP-based Power Macintosh G4 models with either 100 MHz or 133 MHz system buses, replacing the original processor card. All Encore/ST models utilize Sonnet's unique "AutoConfigure" technology to automatically detect what computer is being used and set the speed to the maximum safe setting. On the first "AGP Graphics" and "Gigabit Ethernet" models, this card operates at 1.3 GHz and on "Digital Audio", "Quicksilver", and "Mirrored Drive Doors" models, this card operates at 1.267 GHz.
