The Sonnet Presto Plus, created primarily for educators or anyone else looking to quickly upgrade a lab full of older Macs for Internet access, features a 33 MHz 68040 or 68LC040 processor, 10Base-T ethernet, a 80 ns 72-pin SIMM slot that ships standard with 32 MB of RAM, and "MacOS 8 enabler software" that allows MacOS 8 to run on previously incompatible systems. The card plugs into the PDS slot.
