Mac Upgrade Cards: XLR8 XLR8 manufactured and sold a complete line of PowerPC G3 and G4-based processor upgrade cards for the Apple Power Macintosh and Power Macintosh G3 series. On August 10, 2002, XLR8 ceased operations and began to dissolve the company. Daystar Technology acquired XLR8 on January 1, 2003 and continues to sell a line of Daystar/XLR8 branded upgrade cards. |
