This update of EveryMac.com features a variety of new MacBook, MacBook Pro, & MacBook Air Q&As -- with the final update to the MacBook Air Q&A scheduled for completion after Apple ships both configurations of the product -- and a major upgrade of the EveryMac.com Forums -- now out of "beta" -- with the entire site running on a fast new server.
The EveryMac.com Forums have been improved -- all known bugs have been squashed -- and advertising has been reduced -- that's right, reduced -- to give you more "space" to communicate. The forums are here for you to use and enjoy, so please do so, it is hoped that you will find the community worthwhile.
The new server is equipped with eight cores of processing power and a phalanx of drives and RAM to substantially increase the performance of the site and give it more room to grow. Of course, new servers are costly, and consequently, your support of EveryMac.com and the companies that sponsor the site is appreciated as always. With your continued patronage, EveryMac.com will be able to serve you for years to come.
It is hoped that you enjoy this substantial improvement to EveryMac.com and find the site even more useful than before.
Today's Discussion Q&A is "With the gap between the 'consumer' MacBook and the 'professional' MacBook Air reduced considerably by the introduction of the MacBook 'Unibody', do you still think the MacBook Air is worth considering? Do you think the ultrathin design and three pound MacBook Air is worth the higher price and reduced performance, connectivity, and expansion compared to the 4.5 pound MacBook 'Unibody'? Why or why not?" Contribute your ideas. Join the discussion.
