This month, EveryMac.com is pleased to launch an all new "EveryMac" webapp! [subsequently discontinued]
The EveryMac app has much of the same content and functionality as the "old school" EveryMac.com website established in 1996, but is entirely redesigned for the small screens of iPhone and iPod touch devices. As it is completely web-powered, independent, and uncensored, you can be assured that it is up-to-date -- with automatic updates in the background on a regular basis -- as well as comprehensive and objective.
Major EveryMac app features include:
- Browse Mac specs as well as iPod, iPhone, and iPad specs by series, year, processor, and more.
- Lookup systems and devices by order number, model number, EMC number, model identifier, and its serial number.
- Filter Macs on category screens by name to save time. For example, type "2.33" in the "Filter Results" box in the iMac category and only matching iMac models will be displayed.
- Filter precise details -- such as processor type, RAM, or identifiers -- on individual specs screens to quickly find the most pertinent details without even scrolling.
- Compare Mac specs side-by-side with a quick "swipe" of the finger.
- Save lists of your Macs, iPods, iPhones, iPads, and more with the "My Cloud" function.
To install the EveryMac app on your mobile device, please click the "Launch the EveryMac App" link on the details page from your iPhone or iPod touch, and follow the "Add to Home Screen" instructions.
