This update of EveryMac.com features a comprehensive update to the MacBook Air Q&A as well as a sitewide update to Windows compatibility information. EveryMac.com's Ultimate Mac Comparison and Ultimate Mac Lookup features and the EveryMac app [subsequently discontinued] each have been updated, too.

This month additionally marks the 17th anniversary of EveryMac.com. Whether you've been using the site for seventeen years or just discovered it seventeen minutes ago, your continued support is appreciated greatly. Thank you very much, as always.

The MacBook Air Q&A has been comprehensively updated to cover the new "Haswell" models. Questions answered include "How fast are the 'Mid-2013' MacBook Air models compared to one another, earlier MacBook Air models and the 13-Inch 'Retina' MacBook Pro?" and "What is a good USB 3.0 hub to use with the MacBook Air while traveling?" and everything in between.

The "Maximum Supported Windows Version" capability listing has been updated completely with a convenient single page run down of which Intel Macs can boot Windows 8 and which cannot. Details are provided on the specs page for each Mac.

EveryMac.com's Ultimate Mac Comparison likewise has been updated with current Windows compatibility info for dynamic side-by-side comparison of all Macs.

Finally, EveryMac.com's Ultimate Mac Lookup has been updated with additional identifiers for the new MacBook Air models -- as well as other Macs, iPods, iPhones, and iPads -- from hands-on inspection and submissions by helpful readers.
