EveryMac.com -- which reached its 22nd year of operation earlier this month -- is pleased to launch the new "EveryMac 3.0" webapp [subsequently discontinued] for iOS, Android, and Kindle Fire.
The EveryMac 3.0 webapp provides enhanced performance; improved navigation; additional technical details, benchmarks, and global prices (to bring it to effective parity with the EveryMac.com website); and all new "specs share" capability.
The share function, in the upper right hand corner of the specifications for each system and device, makes it easy to share the corresponding specs page on EveryMac.com with another user by email or social media. It supports full native sharing on Android and Kindle Fire and copy-and-paste on the iOS with native sharing forthcoming for the iOS when it is supported by the operating system.
On the iPhone, iPad, and iPod touch, the EveryMac 3.0 webapp still supports the "classic" iOS look-and-feel for those with vintage devices running iOS 5 and iOS 6 and provides a modern look-and-feel for those running iOS 7 through iOS 12. On Android and Kindle Fire, the EveryMac 3.0 webapp provides a look-and-feel specific for each operating system, as well.
Whether for the iOS, Android, or Kindle Fire, the EveryMac webapp makes it simple to browse Macs and devices by series, year, processor, and more; lookup systems by precise identifiers; filter systems on category screens; filter details within individual specs screens; compare Macs with a "swipe" of the finger; and save personal lists of your systems.
To install the EveryMac webapp on your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch, click the "Launch the EveryMac App" link on the details page using your iPhone, iPod touch, or iPad, and follow the "Add to Home Screen" instructions.
To install the EveryMac webapp for Android or Kindle Fire, visit the applicable app store and click the "Install" button.
If version 3 is not yet available via Google Play or Amazon where you are, please try again later. It can take some time for the software to "percolate" around the world.
