Apple eMacThe Apple eMac G4/1.25 (USB 2.0) features a 1.25* GHz PowerPC 7447a (G4) processor with the AltiVec "Velocity Engine" vector processing unit and a 512k on chip level 2 cache, 256 MB of PC2700 DDR SDRAM, a 40 GB or 80 GB Ultra ATA/100 hard drive, a tray-loading "Combo" or "SuperDrive" optical drive, ATI Radeon 9200 graphics with 32 MB of dedicated DDR SDRAM, as well as support for AirPort Extreme and Bluetooth (neither pre-installed) in an all-in-one case with a 17.0" (16.0" viewable area) CRT display (resolution support up to 1280x960 in 24-bit color).

The eMac G4/1.25 (USB 2.0) shipped with an ice white Apple "Pro" keyboard and mouse, and boots into MacOS X 10.3 "Panther" or later (it cannot boot into MacOS 9, although it is capable of running MacOS 9 applications within the MacOS X "Classic" environment provided by MacOS X 10.4.11 and earlier).

Compared to the eMac ATI Graphics, the USB 2.0 models have USB 2.0 ports, as the name implies, but also faster processors with larger level 2 cache, a faster system bus, faster RAM, a faster ATA bus, superior graphics, and Bluetooth support.

However, the hardware is capable of using an external display in dual or "extended desktop mode", Apple just blocked the capability in firmware to protect sales of more expensive Macs. Unsupported third-party hacks are available.
