Apple iBook WhiteThe iBook G4/1.2 12-Inch (Late 2004 - Opaque White), features a 1.2 GHz PowerPC 7447a (G4) processor with a 512k "on chip" level 2 cache, 256 MB of RAM (PC2100 DDR SDRAM), a 30 GB (4200 RPM) Ultra ATA/100 hard drive, a slot-loading DVD-ROM/CD-RW "Combo" drive, 4X AGP ATI Mobility Radeon 9200 graphics with 32 MB of DDR SDRAM, pre-installed AirPort Extreme (802.11g) and optional Bluetooth 1.1 packed into a compact opaque white case with a 12.1" TFT XGA active matrix display (1024x768 native resolution).

The third generation iBook G4 models -- dubbed the "Late 2004" series by Apple -- are quite similar to the earlier iBook G4 models -- all are the same architecturally -- but some "Late 2004" models are configured with faster processors, larger hard drives, and more capable optical drives. All "Late 2004" models shipped with AirPort Extreme (802.11g) pre-installed.

The iBook G4/1.2 12-Inch (Late 2004) in particular is quite similar to the iBook G4/1.0 12-Inch (Early 2004) that it replaced, but the "Late 2004" model has a faster processor, pre-installed AirPort Extreme (802.11g), and sold for US$100 less (US$999 compared to US$1099). It otherwise effectively is identical.
