Apple PowerBook G4 12-InchThe PowerBook G4/1.0 12" (DVI) features a 1.0 GHz PowerPC 7447 (G4) processor with the AltiVec "Velocity Engine" vector processing unit and 512k on chip level 2 cache, 256 MB of PC2100 DDR SDRAM, a 40 GB Ultra ATA/100 hard drive (4200 RPM), either a slot-loading 8X "Combo" drive (M9007LL/A) or 2X "SuperDrive" (M9008LL/A), built-in Bluetooth 1.1 (AirPort Extreme capable with optional upgrade), and NVIDIA GeForce FX Go5200 (4X AGP) graphics with 32 MB of DDR SDRAM in an attractive aluminum alloy case with a 12.1" TFT XGA display (1024x768 native resolution). Custom configurations also were available.

Compared to the PowerBook G4/867 12" that it replaced, the PowerBook G4/1.0 12" (DVI) is quite similar, but has a faster processor with twice the amount of on chip level 2 cache, twice the amount of onboard RAM, and improved graphics. Additionally, as the name implies, it swaps out the Mini-VGA port for a Mini-DVI port as well as USB 1.1 for USB 2.0 ports.
