Apple PowerBook G4The PowerBook G4/800 (DVI) features an 800 MHz PowerPC 7451 (G4) processor with the AltiVec "Velocity Engine" vector processing unit, 256k on chip level 2 cache, and 1.0 MB level 3 cache, 512 MB of PC133 SDRAM, a 40 GB Ultra ATA/66 hard drive (4200 RPM), a slot-loading 8X DVD/CD-RW "Combo" drive, built-in AirPort (802.11b), and ATI Mobility Radeon 7500 (4X AGP) graphics with 32 MB of DDR SDRAM in a 1-inch thick Titanium case with a 15.2" TFT display (1280x854 native resolution). Custom configurations also were available.

Compared to the PowerBook G4/667 (Gigabit) that it replaced, the PowerBook G4/800 (DVI) has a faster processor with level 3 cache, improved graphics and a higher resolution display. The "DVI" models also swap the VGA port for a DVI port, add an analog audio in port, and drop the IrDA capabilities.
