Apple TV 4K 3rd Gen, 2022Even smaller than their predecessor Apple TV 4K (2nd Gen), the Apple TV 4K (3rd Gen) models are fanless, faster, and add support for HDR10+. This Wi-Fi + Ethernet model (A2843) has the same Gigabit Ethernet and Thread networking support as its predecessor and increases internal storage, as well.

The Apple TV 4K (3rd Gen, 2022, Wi-Fi + Ethernet) is powered by a five core Apple A15 Bionic processor, has 4 GB of RAM, and 128 GB of internal flash memory storage.

Connectivity includes HDMI 2.1, Wi-Fi 6 (802.11ax) with 2x2 MIMO, Gigabit Ethernet, Thread networking support, and Bluetooth 5.0.

The Apple TV 4K (3rd Gen) models ship with a new USB-C equipped "Siri Remote" (A2854, EMC 8220). It has a touch-enabled "clickpad control that offers five-way navigation" and an outer ring that works as a "jog control" for quick scene selection. It also has a microphone for use with Siri, too. In a particularly miserly omission, though, a necessary USB-C charging cable is not included.
