All Apple Watch Series 10 models are 10% thinner and at least 10% lighter than their predecessors, but have a new processor, a larger display with a wider viewing angle and a faster refresh rate as well as faster charging, new depth and temperature sensors, improved voice isolation, and new case finish and material options.
All cellular-equipped Apple Watch Series 10 models, including this one, are capable of being connected to the Internet without a "tethered" iPhone, but it still is intended to be used with an iPhone XS or later or iPhone SE 2 or later running iOS 18 or later for some functions.
All Apple Watch Series 10 devices are controlled with a Digital Crown with haptic feedback and a touch capable display. This particular Apple Watch Series 10, the Cellular model in the 46 mm size, features a 416x496 "Always-On Retina" wide angle LTPO3 OLED screen with a minimum of 1 nit of brightness and a maximum of 2000 nits of brightness, and either an aluminum case with Ion-X glass covering the display or a titanium case with "Sapphire" crystal covering the display. Battery life is an Apple estimated "up to 18 hours" overall in modest use.
For this model, there are three aluminum body options -- brushed Silver (pictured, left) and "Rose Gold" as well as polished, shiny "Jet Black" -- and three titanium body options -- polished, shiny warm gray "Natural", Gold, and dark gray "Slate" (pictured, right). A variety of bundled bands in addition to a wide range of additional watch bands are available from Apple via customization, as well.

This model also has cellular capability, although specific cellular band support varies by location sold. All cellular capable Apple Watch Series 10 models support LTE bands 1 (2100 MHz), 2 (1900 MHz), 3 (1800 MHz), 4 (AWS), 5 (850 MHz), 6 (850MHz), 7 (2600 MHz), 18 (800 MHz), 19 (800 MHz), 25 (1900 MHz), 26 (800 MHz), 39 (TD 1900), 40 (TD 2300), 41 (TD 2500), and 66 (AWS-3) as well as UMTS 2100 MHz, 1900 MHz, 1700/2100 MHz, and 850 MHz.
However, Apple Watch Series 10 models sold in the US, Canada, Ecuador, Mexico, and Puerto Rico also do support LTE bands 12 (700 MHz), 13 (700c MHz), 14 (700 PS), and 17 (700b MHz), but do not support LTE bands 8 (900 MHz), 20 (800 DD), and 28 (700 APT MHz) as well as UMTS 900 MHz.
On the other hand, models sold everywhere else the Apple Watch Series 10 is sold -- except for the US, Canada, Ecuador, Mexico, and Puerto Rico -- are the opposite and do not support LTE bands 12 (700 MHz), 13 (700c MHz), 14 (700 PS), and 17 (700b MHz), but do support LTE bands 8 (900 MHz), 20 (800 DD), and 28 (700 APT MHz) as well as UMTS 900 MHz.
