Apple Watch Series 8, Cellular, 45 mmPlease note that this A2774 Apple Watch Series 8 (GPS+Cellular, United States/Canada, 45 mm) model is compatible with LTE bands 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 12, 13, 14, 17, 18, 19, 25, 26, 39, 40, 41, and 66 as well as UMTS 2100 MHz, 1900 MHz, 1700/2100 MHz and 850 MHz. It is not compatible with LTE bands 8 (900 MHz), 20 (800 DD), or 28 (700 APT MHz) or with UMTS 900 MHz. It was sold in the United States, Canada, and Puerto Rico.

The Apple Watch Series 8 models are highly similar to the Apple Watch Series 7 models that they replaced, but they have temperature sensors for expanded health monitoring, a more powerful gyroscope and accelerometer to support Crash Detection for automobile crashes, and a Low Power Mode option.

All cellular-equipped Apple Watch Series 8 models, including this one, are capable of being connected to the Internet without a "tethered" iPhone, but it still is intended to be used with an iPhone 8 or later running iOS 16 or later for some functions.

All Apple Watch Series 8 devices are controlled with a Digital Crown with haptic feedback and a touch capable display. This particular Apple Watch Series 8, a cellular capable model in the 45 mm size, features a 396x484 "Always-On Retina" LTPO OLED screen either with Ion-X glass packed in an aluminum case or sapphire crystal glass packed in a stainless steel case as well as a ceramic and sapphire crystal back that connects to the charger.

Battery life is an Apple estimated "up to 18 hours" overall in modest use; the "Low Power Mode" option can extend battery life to up to 36 hours by disabling the Always-On Display and other functions.

There are four aluminum body options that were offered by Apple Authorized Resellers -- warm gray "Starlight" (pictured, left), nearly black "Midnight", silver, and (PRODUCT) RED as well as three stainless steel options -- gold, graphite (pictured, right), and silver. A variety of bundled bands in addition to a wide range of additional watch bands were available from Apple via customization, as well.
