What are the "pros and cons" of the iPhone SE (2nd Gen)? Is it for me?
The iPhone SE (2nd Gen) models have been discontinued. However, this Q&A has been updated subsequently with current iOS support and other details and can be quite helpful to anyone considering buying one of these devices on the used market.
Of course, only you can decide if the iPhone SE (2nd Gen) is the best iPhone for you, but the below objective pros and cons can help.
EveryiPhone.com also provides a in-depth iPhone SE (2nd Gen) evaluation that can be better for those who like details. For those who would prefer a quick to read summary, the following can be ideal.

So, should I buy an iPhone SE 2?
On the used market the value proposition may have changed somewhat because all of these devices now are cheaper. However, when new, for those who could afford it comfortably, the iPhone 11 or iPhone 11 Pro/iPhone 11 Pro Max models were better devices with better displays, better cameras, and more, and the better choice accordingly. The iPhone SE 2 is the same speed and yet cost much less, though, which made it a good choice for those on a budget.
If you are on a budget these days, considering a used device, and you want a relatively fast, relatively compact iPhone, the iPhone SE 2 remains a decent choice, especially if you prefer an old style iPhone with a physical home button. The newer, faster, iPhone SE 3 would be even beter, but it will cost a bit more.
In the US, site sponsor Other World Computing sells used and refurbished iPhone SE 2 models with free shipping. On the other hand, if you need to sell an iPhone, A+ BBB-rated Cash for Your Mac and GoRoostr will buy your older iPhone with an instant quote and prompt payment.
In Australia, site sponsor Mac City likewise has a variety of used iPhone models sold at low prices and available with a free warranty and fast shipping across Australia.
