Is there a cheaper alternative to Apple's wheels for the "2019" Mac Pro?
At the time of purchase, Apple provides the option to configure the "2019" Mac Pro models with wheels instead of its stock feet for an extra US$400.

At US$100 a pop, these wheels are a pretty expensive option already.
How to Install the Apple Mac Pro Wheels Kit
If you didn't opt for the wheels at the time of purchase, Apple provides the option to subsequently purchase the Apple Mac Pro Wheels Kit (MX572ZM/A) for US$699, a full US$299 more.

Apple provides installation instructions for the wheels on its website, but it is more involved than you might think, requiring a flexible screwdriver in addition to the 1/4-inch to 4 mm hex bit that is included with the upgrade kit.
The Best, Affordable Alternative Wheels for the Mac Pro
If you would like a simpler to install and less expensive option to add wheels to your "2019" Mac Pro, site sponsor Other World Computing sells an OWC Rover Pro Kit to add wheels without tools entirely. It only costs US$199.

These wheels are not quite as fancy as Apple's option, but the clever patented design provides a much more straightforward and elegant installation and removal process. The substantially lower price tag is welcomed, too.
