The Apple Mac Server G3/450 (Blue & White), based on the Yosemite architecture, features a 450 MHz PowerPC 750 (G3) processor with 1 MB of backside cache, 256 MB of RAM, dual 9 GB Ultra2 SCSI hard drives (and corresponding PCI card), a 32X CD-ROM drive, and an ATI Rage 128 GL graphics card with 16 MB of SDRAM in a translucent "blue and white" enclosure with a "fold down door" on the side that makes the system extremely easy to upgrade.
For all practical purposes, all models in the Mac Server G3 series are identical to another model in the Power Macintosh G3 series, but the server models often shipped with faster hard drives, and always with pre-installed server software. The Mac Server G3/450 (Blue & White), in particular, is based on the Power Macintosh G3/450 (Blue & White), but originally shipped with either a copy of MacOS 8.5.1 and a pre-installed "AppleShare Solution Kit" (M7559LL/A) or a copy of MacOS X Server 10.1 (M7560LL/A).
Despite the age of this system, site sponsor Other World Computing has RAM, hard drives, SSDs, and other upgrades available for this specific Mac while supplies last.
