The Apple PowerBook Duo 280 features a 33 MHz 68LC040 processor, 4 MB or 12 MB of RAM and a 240 MB hard drive in a compact, lightweight portable case with a sharp 9.1" grayscale active-matrix display.
The PowerBook Duo 280 looks essentially the same as the Duo 250 it replaced, but the 280 has a faster 68LC040 processor, higher maximum RAM capacity, and an enhanced battery design.
The PowerBook Duo series provides both a portable computer and the and the option to set up a full-powered desktop Macintosh by plugging the notebook into a compatible Duo Dock.
