Apple PowerBook Duo Dock II Specs
All PowerBook Duo Models | All 1994 Models | Dynamically Compare This Mac to Others
The Apple Macintosh PowerBook Duo Dock II turns a PowerBook Duo into a full-featured desktop Macintosh including a 68882 FPU, a level 2 cache, a 1.44 MB floppy disk drive, a complete set of desktop ports, and NuBus slots. An internal 230 MB hard drive, to complement the one installed in the PowerBook Duo, was offered as an option as well.
The Duo Dock II was the first Duo Dock to support the PowerBook Duo models with color displays, but it can support grayscale models as well. It is similar to the original Duo Dock, but the FPU is standard (rather than optional), a level 2 cache and AAUI-15 Ethernet are provided and it has twice as much VRAM, which is soldered in place and cannot be upgraded.
