What are the differences between the original PowerBook G4 (400/500) models?

Please note that the original PowerBook G4 series was introduced on January 9, 2001 and discontinued October 16, 2001.

The differences between the PowerBook G4/400 (Original - Ti) and PowerBook G4/500 (Original - Ti) are relatively minor. Both systems share the same ultrasleek Titanium case, 15.2" TFT widescreen display, video card, and DVD-ROM drive.
