Introduced in 2001 and sold until 2006, the PowerBook G4 was the last professional Apple notebook series to use the PowerPC processor. All PowerBook G4 models use silver colored titanium or aluminum case designs that were thin for their day. The PowerBook G4 was replaced by the MacBook Pro series in 2006.
