Apple Power Macintosh 9600/200The Apple Power Macintosh 9600/200, based on the Tsunami architecture, features a 200 MHz PowerPC 604e processor, 32 MB of RAM, a 4.0 GB hard drive, a 12X CD-ROM drive, and a 4 MB IMS Twin Turbo 120 M4A video card in a well-designed, "flip open" tower case design that is significantly easier to upgrade than earlier Power Mac tower cases.

In addition to the easy-to-upgrade case, the Power Macintosh 9600 series is notable for having twelve RAM slots and six PCI slots for expansion options unmatched by subsequently released Power Mac models.
