March 5, 2008

This month, EveryMac.com features complete specs (and a handful of Q&As) on the new "Penryn" MacBook and MacBook Pro models. The "By Year", "By Processor," "By Case Type" and "By Capability" Mac specification listings have been updated as well.

Today's Discussion Q&A is "What do you think about the new 'Penryn' MacBook and MacBook Pro models? Do you view the modest 'speed bumps' -- and addition of 'multitouch' on the MacBook Pro -- as worthwhile refinements of essentially perfect notebooks or were you hoping for more substantial new features or design changes? If you had the choice, what one feature would you add or change would you make?" Contribute your ideas.

In case you missed one, Q&As since the last major update include:

  • What are the differences between the MacBook Air and the "regular" MacBook?
  • What is the difference between the MacBook Pro Core 2 Duo "Early 2008/Penryn" models and the MacBook Pro "Mid-2007/Santa Rosa" models that they replaced?
  • What are the differences between the MacBook Pro Core 2 Duo "Early 2008/Penryn" models?
  • What are the differences between the "Early 2008 Penryn" MacBook Core 2 Duo models and the "Late 2007 Santa Rosa" MacBook notebooks that they replaced?
