This month, EveryMac.com features complete updates to the Aluminum iMac Q&A and Mac Pro Q&A to cover the latest models as well as two new "By Capability" listings.
The Aluminum iMac Q&A answers "How does the gaming performance of the 'Early 2009' Aluminum iMac Core 2 Duo compare to earlier Aluminum iMac models?" and "How do you upgrade the hard drive in the Aluminum iMac models? What type of hard drive do they support?" along with dozens of other questions about Apple's more affordable new iMacs.
The Mac Pro Q&A answers "How much faster are the 'Early 2009/Nehalem' Mac Pro models than the 'Early 2008' Mac Pro models?" and "How do you upgrade the RAM in the 'Early 2009/Nehalem' Mac Pro? How much RAM of what type does it support?" and everything in between about Apple's most powerful new Macs.
In response to reader requests, the "By Capability" listings now include new "Primary Display Capabilities" and "Ethernet Capabilities". If you are not familiar with the now ten "By Capability" listings, these provide a convenient one page "run down" of a particular capability for all G3 and later Macs.
For example, the "AirPort Capabilities" listing shows all G3 and later Macs on a single page with information about which models support 802.11b, 802.11g, 802.11n or none of the above and whether or not the particular standard of AirPort was pre-installed.
In case you missed one, Q&As since the last major update include:
