This update of EveryMac.com unveils an all new "Ultimate Mac Timeline" feature [subsequently discontinued] that dynamically displays every Apple Mac -- from 1984 to the present -- in a scrollable, interactive timeline format.

EveryMac.com's Ultimate Mac Timeline makes it easy to quickly see which Macs were available at any given time. You can scroll to the left and right or jump to particular years -- and use interactive "filter" and "highlight" functions to narrow down and spotlight particular Macs. As you would expect from EveryMac.com, complete specs for each Mac are just a click away.

Please note that the Ultimate Mac Timeline is designed for a minimum of a 13" widescreen display (1280x800) running Safari on Mac OS X with a modestly sized dock. It will work on other browsers and display sizes as well, but those with other browsers may need to close the Mac OS X dock or not all features will be visible on a 1280x800 display. Smaller display sizes are not supported.

Although the Ultimate Mac Timeline has been tested extensively, your mileage may vary. It is subject to change and should be considered to be in "beta".

It is hoped that you enjoy this major addition to EveryMac.com and find the site even more useful than before. With your continued patronage of the companies that sponsor the site, EveryMac.com will be able to serve you for years to come.
