Largely for those interested in maintaining one for "legacy" use, the Power Mac G3 Q&A has been completely overhauled to answer "How do you replace or upgrade the optical drive in the Power Mac G3 models? Can these Macs support DVD-R?" and "How can you visually differentiate between a Revision 1 and 2 'Blue & White' Power Mac G3 model?" along with many other questions about these vintage Macs.
EveryMac.com's all new search functionality is powered by Google and results are much more accurate and comprehensive than before. Give it a try!
In addition, EveryMac.com's Ultimate Mac Lookup has been updated with additional serial numbers. If you haven't already, lookup your Mac, iPod, and iPhone by their serial numbers. If your serial number isn't included, please send it in. Thank you.
