This month, EveryMac.com features an update to the Mac Upgrades section, two new By Capability listings, and an all new iPod, iPhone & iPad Identification section. EveryMac.com's Ultimate Mac Lookup feature has been updated as well.
EveryMac.com's Mac Upgrades section -- which has all upgrade related Q&As on a single page for your convenience -- has been updated to include the latest MacBook Pro models.
As requested by readers, the By Capability & Identifier section now provides new "Processor Socket" and "Hard Drive Interface" listings to make official and unofficial upgrades easier. If you are not familiar with the now seventeen By Capability & Identifier listings, these provide a convenient one page "run down" of a particular capability or identifier for G3 and later Macs.
As also requested by readers, the all new iPod, iPhone & iPad Identification section enumerates the methods that the site provides to identify particular iPods, iPhones and iPads. It also explains how to find these identifiers on different devices, details the strengths and weaknesses of each identifier, and more.
