This month, EveryMac.com is pleased to offer a "sneak peek" of an all new "Embed Specs" feature.

Currently offered in "quite beta" -- and likewise subject to potential bugs and future tweaks -- EveryMac.com's new Embed Specs functionality is designed to make it quick and simple for an individual to embed an EveryMac.com specs table for a specific Mac in his or her online classified ad or auction listing.

It's easy to use -- from the specs page of any G3 or later Mac, click the "Embed" link beside "Bookmark & Share," select the classified ad site or auction site of interest from the pull-down menu, and copy the code that appears in the text box. Paste this code into your classified ad or auction on the site you selected and you're good to go.

Initially, EveryMac.com's Embed Specs feature supports Craigslist, Backpage, and eBay, but support for more sites will be added in the future. If there is a particular classified ad site or auction site that you would like to see supported, please feel free to make suggestions.

For businesses, EveryMac.com also is pleased to offer a licensed option. By becoming a "Licensed Affiliate Site," a company can use EveryMac.com's Embed Specs functionality on an authorized domain name complete with custom control over information displayed, colors, logo and more. Even better, though, the Javascript-enabled licensed specs automatically are updated "by magic" on the affiliate site when EveryMac.com adds new information.

Whether you use EveryMac.com for personal or business reasons, it is hoped that you enjoy this major addition and find the site to be even more helpful than before. With your continued patronage of the companies that sponsor the site, EveryMac.com will be able to serve you for years to come.
