15 November 2013

This update of EveryMac.com features complete specs, identifiers, benchmarks, and global prices on the now shipping Retina Display iPad mini models as well as a comprehensive update to the Retina Display MacBook Pro Q&A to cover the latest line.

The Retina Display MacBook Pro Q&A answers "How do you upgrade or replace the storage in the Retina MacBook Pro? Is it even possible?" and "How fast are the 'Late 2013' MacBook Pro models compared to one another? Are they really faster than the models replaced?" and everything in between about the new MacBook Pro systems.

Additionally, the Currently Shipping, By Year, By Processor, By Capability, and By Identifier methods to browse iPod, iPhone and iPad models have been updated. The Ultimate iLookup and Ultimate iComparison features have been updated, too.

Finally, the EveryMac app [subsequently discontinued] -- designed for the iPhone, iPod touch, and iPad as well as Android -- has been updated, as well.

For those interested in saving money on a new iPad mini, site sponsor PowerMax has the latest models free of sales tax and with free shipping.

If you bought, or buy, a new iPad mini, please send in its serial number. The non-personal info will be added to EveryMac.com's Ultimate Mac Lookup to help with model identification and differentiation. Thank you.
