18 September 2018

This update of EveryMac.com features preliminary specs, identifiers, and global prices on the iPhone XS and iPhone XS Max now available for pre-order in addition to the iPhone XR that will be available to order in October. Details on the Apple Watch Series 4 will be added soon and complete info on all of these devices can be added when they ship.

Complete compatibility details on iOS 12, which was released in its final version yesterday, also have been added sitewide. To be on the safe side, EveryMac.com would recommend waiting for a "bug fix" update or two before upgrading your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch to the latest version of the iOS.

Additionally, the Currently Shipping, By Year, By Processor, By Capability, and By Identifier methods to browse iPod, iPhone and iPad models have been updated.

The Ultimate iLookup and Ultimate iComparison features have been updated, too.

Finally, the EveryMac webapp [subsequently discontinued] has been updated to cover the latest devices, as well.

If you bought, or buy, a new iPhone or Apple Watch, please send in its serial number when the device arrives. Non-personal information will be added to EveryMac.com's Ultimate Mac Lookup to help with model identification and differentiation. Thank you.
