This update of EveryMac.com features a comprehensive update to the Touch Bar MacBook Pro Q&A; new iPod touch Q&As; and updates to the macOS Catalina (10.15), iOS 13, and iPadOS Q&As to note the public beta release of these operating systems.

EveryMac.com's Ultimate Mac Lookup has been updated, too.

As always, EveryMac.com would strongly recommend waiting for the final versions of macOS Catalina, iOS 13, and iPadOS before upgrading on any mission critical hardware. Nevertheless, EveryMac.com's macOS and iOS system compatibility lists are up-to-date.

The Touch Bar MacBook Pro Q&A answers "How fast are the new 'Touch Bar' MacBook Pro models compared to the models replaced?" and "Is there a 'MagSafe' power cable option for the 'Touch Bar' MacBook Pro?" and many other questions about Apple's most powerful notebooks.

The iPod Q&A answers "What are all the differences between the new iPod touch 7 and the old iPod touch 6?" and "How fast is the new iPod touch 7 compared to previous iPod touch models? How fast is it compared to the iPhone?" as well as more than 100 questions about earlier iPod devices.

For those interested in saving money on a new MacBook Pro or iPod touch, Apple Authorized site sponsor Adorama has the new models in stock and available with free shipping.

EveryMac.com's Ultimate Mac Lookup has been updated with additional identifiers for Macs and devices from hands-on inspection and submissions by helpful readers. Thank you very much to those who continue to contribute info. It's appreciated greatly.
