September 24, 1997

Even with the licensing squabbles this month, EveryMac.com features facts and speculation on the status of every current MacOS-Compatible manufacturer and new computers from Akia, Apple, Assistive Technology, DayStar, Mactell, PowerTools, and Shaye.

EveryMac.com is the proud recipient of an Elite Apple Award courtesy of SiteLink.Net for the month of September!

SiteLink.Net reviewed EveryMac.com (which was then named The Macintosh Guide Book):

The [Macintosh] Guide Book is an exhaustive listing of all Macs and compatibles (past and present), including many makers we've never heard of, listed by manufacturer and processor. Included are full specs on each model, dates of manufacture, and initial and current price estimates, as well as a general description. One major annoyance is the use of the MacAddict Network ad banners in a permanent frame at the bottom of the page. Overall, however, this is a great effort on the part of the designer, Brock Kyle.

[Update: The advertising banner was later moved to the top of the page to make it a little less annoying, and now the frames are completely gone].

Sounds pretty good to me. Thanks SiteLink.Net!
