How much internal storage do the iPhone Duo models have? Is it possible to expand internal storage? It is possible to add external storage?
All iPhone Duo models use internal flash memory that cannot be expanded.
However, it is easy to connect external storage to the iPhone Duo, backup your personal photos and videos -- be sure to make at least two copies or it's not really a backup! -- and then delete them on the iPhone Duo to free up storage space.
Default Internal iPhone Duo Storage (Skip)
The default storage is listed on the specs page for each iPhone Duo, but also follows:
To reiterate, the default internal storage in all iPhone Duo cannot be upgraded beyond the amount that was installed at the time of purchase.
Remember that if you need help identifying a particular iPhone Duo, perhaps to confirm its storage before buying one on the used market, EveryMac.com's Ultimate iLookup feature makes it easy to precisely identify each iPhone by Model Number and Order Number and by other identifiers, too. iPhone Identification may be helpful, as well.
External iPhone Duo Storage Solutions
For those who would like to add external storage to their iPhone Duo -- all have a USB-C port (USB 3 up to 10Gb/s) -- it is straightforward to connect a compatible storage drive.
Effectively any USB-C stick will work just to transfer photos and video, so you might like to consider simple options like the SanDisk Phone Drive USB, with a USB-C port and capacities up to 256 GB of storage, or the SanDisk Ultra Dual Drive Luxe, with USB-A and USB-C ports and capacities up to 1 TB.
