Please note that this A3720 iPhone Duo is compatible with FDD-5G NR bands n1, n2, n3, n5, n7, n8, n12, n20, n25, n26, n28, n30, n66, n70, and n75 and TDD-5G NR bands n38, n40, n41, n48, n53, n77, n78, and n79. It is not compatible with FDD-5G NR bands n14 or n29, TDD-5G NR band n71, or 5G NR mmWave bands n258, n260, and n261. It is intended for carriers practically everywhere -- it is sold in at least 190 countries and territories -- but it is not sold in the United States, Canada, Mexico, Japan, Saudi Arabia, the UAE, China, and a handful of other countries. It is technically compatible with carriers around the world as long as they support eSIM (it does not support hardware nano-SIM).
Apple's first "foldable" iPhone, the iPhone Duo (2026) has two "Super Retina XDR" OLED displays -- a smaller "outer" 5.4" (diagonal) display that is on top when the device is folded and an "inner" 7.6" (diagonal) "folding display" that is visible when the device is unfolded. The inner display has a nano-texture (matte) finish in an effort to reduce glare and the appearance of a crease.
The iPhone Duo has four cameras; two separate "outer" and "inner" front cameras and a "Dual Fusion camera system" on the back.
The "outer" camera -- on the front when closed -- is a 12 megapixel 4K "Center Stage" camera optimized for selfies (it does not support Face ID). The "inner" camera -- on the inner display accessible when the device is open -- is a 1080p "under-display FaceTime camera" with Center Stage support intended primarily for video calls.
The rear-mounted 48 megapixel "Dual Fusion camera system" incorporates two cameras -- a "Fusion Main" and "Fusion Ultra Wide" -- and supports 4K video as well as 24 megapixel and 48 megapixel stills.
Available in two color options -- a light "Star White" or a very dark blue "Night Sky" -- the iPhone Duo uses an aluminum case with flat, polished sides and has a glass front and glass back. The front has a "Ceramic Shield 2" cover for durability and the back has a weaker "Ceramic Shield" and an integrated "MagSafe" magnetic charging connection. It is splash, water, and dust-resistant to the IP68 standard.
Internally, the iPhone Duo is powered by a (Pending) GHz Apple A20 Pro processor with six CPU cores -- two "super" cores and four efficiency cores -- as well as a 7-core GPU and a dual 16-core Neural Engine. It has 12 GB of RAM (subject to confirmation, Pending) and 256 GB, 512 GB, 1 TB, or 2 TB of flash storage. It also supports 802.11be Wi-Fi 7 with 2x2 MIMO, 5G wireless, Bluetooth 6, "second generation" Ultra Wideband, NFC for Apple Pay, "Express Cards with power reserve", Thread networking, Crash Detection, Emergency SOS and Roadside Assistance via satellite, a USB-C port, a hardware "Camera Control" button, and support for Apple Intelligence AI features.
Apple estimates that the iPhone Duo provides "up to" 24 hours of "typical use" -- a new metric for the company -- as well as "up to" 31 hours of video playback and 26 hours of streamed video playback using the larger inner display and "up to" 44 hours of video playback and 37 hours of streamed video playback using the smaller outer display.
Price varies by country, but in the UK, this specific iPhone Duo costs £1999, £2199, £2599, and £3199 with 256 GB, 512 GB, 1 TB, and 2 TB of storage, respectively. It also is available financed over a two-year contract for as little as £66.63, £73.30, £86.63, and £106.63 a month, respectively.
