Mac Systems: Apple: Macintosh WGS Series
Apple's Macintosh WGS (Workgroup Server) series was sold from March 1993 to March 1998. The WGS series primarily consists of models identical or quite similar to those in the Quadra and Power Macintosh lines, except all WGS models shipped with pre-installed server software.
More recent Apple servers include the Macintosh Server G3, Server G4 and Xserve as well as select models in the Mac Pro and Mac mini lines.
