How many external displays does the MacBook Neo support?
In addition to support for full native resolution on the interior display, the rear USB-C port (toward the hinge, left side) of the MacBook Neo supports one external display up to 3840x2160 (4K) at 60 Hz.

What type of video processor is provided by the MacBook Neo? Is it possible to upgrade it?
The MacBook Neo has a 5-core video processor (GPU) that is fully integrated with the SoC. It is not possible to upgrade the GPU at the time of purchase or later.
How do you connect the MacBook Neo to a wired Ethernet network? Is it possible?
A variety of adapters are available, but one inexpensive option is the OWC USB-C Travel Dock E available from site sponsor OWC.

This compact dock provides a Gigabit Ethernet port, two USB 3.2 (Type-A) ports, an HDMI 2.0 port, an SD card reader, and a USB-C power passthrough port.
What type of power connector does the MacBook Neo use? Does it support the "MagSafe" connector?
By default, the MacBook Neo is bundled with a 20W USB-C Power Adapter and a USB-C Charge Cable (1.5m) in the US and most countries. It does not support "MagSafe 3" like other recent Mac notebooks.
Note that for charging the notebook, it is possible to use either USB-C port, but it is best to use the front USB-C port (left side) because the rear port supports faster speeds for data transfer as well as an external display.
Where can I buy a MacBook Neo? How can I save some money?
You can buy a new MacBook Neo direct from Apple or an Apple Authorized Reseller.
If you're interested in a MacBook Neo primarily because of its low price tag, you may also wish to consider used MacBook Air models. Recent MacBook Air models on the used market are priced very competitively with a new MacBook Neo and many are significantly faster and much more capable than the MacBook Neo.
In the US, site sponsor Other World Computing sells used and refurb MacBook Air models at bargain prices with free shipping, as well.
In the UK, site sponsor Hoxton Macs sells used MacBook Air models with a one-year warranty and free next day delivery throughout the UK.
What are the custom configuration options for the MacBook Neo?
Some Macs allow you to select a faster processor, add more RAM, or add a higher capacity SSD at the time of purchase than the default standard configuration(s).
However, there are no custom configuration options for the MacBook Neo. You can choose a color -- silver, "Blush" (light pink), "Citrus" (yellow), or "Indigo" (dark blue) -- as well as 256 GB of storage or 512 GB of storage and a keyboard equipped with "Touch ID" for authentication.
