What are all the differences between the 16-Inch "2019" MacBook Pro models?
There are two stock configurations of the 16-Inch "2019" MacBook Pro models -- the MacBook Pro "Core i7" 2.6 16" 2019 (Scissor) and MacBook Pro "Core i9" 2.3 16" 2019 (Scissor). Either also can be custom-configured with a faster processor. EveryMac.com documents this configure-to-order model as the MacBook Pro "Core i9" 2.4 16" 2019 (Scissor).
The 16-Inch "2019" MacBook Pro models are externally identical, but there are notable internal differences that are not obvious. It is useful to understand the similarities, as well.

External Similarities
The 16-Inch "2019" MacBook Pro notebooks all use the same "sealed" thin aluminum and glass case that is a uniform 0.64 of an inch thick. They weigh 4.3 lbs (2.0 kg) and are available in a silver-colored or a darker "Space Gray"-colored housing.
They all have a 16.0" widescreen 3072x1920 (226 ppi, 500 nits) LED-backlit, wide color (P3), widescreen "Retina" displays with "True Tone" technology that adjusts its color temperature based on ambient light.
Finally, all 16-Inch "2019" MacBook Pro models have a 720p FaceTime HD webcam, integrated high-quality six speaker audio system, a "studio‑quality three-mic array with high signal-to-noise ratio and directional beamforming" for recording, and huge "Force Touch" trackpads. They also have "a new Magic Keyboard" with a "redesigned scissor mechanism and 1mm travel" "including 4 arrow keys in an inverted-T arrangement" as well as a customized "Touch Bar" with a separate esc key and a separate "Touch ID" sensor.
Connectivity Similarities
The 16-Inch "2019" MacBook Pro models have the same connectivity. All three models have four full-speed Thunderbolt 3 ports (size compatible with USB-C), a "traditional" 3.5 mm headphone jack that does not support optical audio, 802.11ac Wi-Fi, and Bluetooth 5.0.
Identification Differences
At the time the 16-Inch "2019" MacBook Pro models were introduced, they could be uniquely identified by the A2141 Model Number, but this likely will be shared by subsequent models.
Accordingly, the MacBookPro16,1 Model Identifier in software and the 3347 EMC Number on the bottom of the notebook toward the hinge, are better for long-term identification.
Additionally, EveryMac.com's Ultimate Mac Lookup feature also can uniquely identify each MacBook Pro model by their serial numbers, which are listed in software as well as on the bottom of the system.
Just as the site has done for more than two decades, EveryMac.com has diligently hand documented all of these details for your convenience.
Internal Differences
The 16-Inch "2019" MacBook Pro models effectively are designed to be sealed and disposable, so there are no internal differences relevant to upgrades, but the two models have different processors, graphics processors, and storage:
