This month, EveryMac.com features complete technical specifications (and a handful of Q&As) on the new MacBook systems. The "By Processor," "By Case Type" and "By Capability" Mac specification listings have been updated as well.

Today's Discussion Q&A is "With Intel's recent unveiling of the 'Santa Rosa' upgrade to the Centrino notebook platform, it is a safe bet that Apple will update the MacBook Pro and iMac models within the coming weeks. In addition to the potential improvements in speed, graphics performance, and battery life that the platform is advertised to provide, what other improvements would you like to see made to the MacBook Pro and iMac? Would you like to see changes to the form factors? Do you think Apple will release a 'subnotebook' MacBook Pro? Do you think Apple will take advantage of the potential for NAND flash memory for faster booting or storage? Why or why not?" Contribute your ideas.

In case you missed one, Q&As since the last major update include:

  • How do you upgrade the RAM in the MacBook? How much RAM of what type does it support?
  • What are the differences between the "Mid-2007" MacBook Core 2 Duo models and the "Late 2006" MacBook notebooks that they replaced?
  • What are the differences between the "Mid-2007" MacBook Core 2 Duo models?
  • What is the overall gaming performance of the Mac Pro? How well does it run Windows games?
  • What is the fastest Mac capable of booting into MacOS 9? Which are the last Macs capable of booting into MacOS 9?
  • Which are the last Macs capable of running MacOS 9/Classic applications?
