This month, EveryMac.com features complete specs on the all new Mac Pro, Xserve, and MacBook Air, the latest details on the Apple TV, iPhone, iPod touch, and pink iPod nano (3G), and a handful of new Q&As. The "By Processor," "By Case Type" and "By Capability" Mac specification listings have been updated as well.

Additionally, EveryMac.com is pleased to unveil a new "By Year" option for viewing all Apple Macs -- and all of the hundreds of Mac clones -- released between 1984 and the present. It is hoped that you enjoy this major addition to EveryMac.com and find the site even more useful than before.

Today's Discussion Q&A is "More than 18 months after discontinuing the compact PowerBook G4 12-Inch, Apple has introduced the ultralight and extremely thin MacBook Air. Are you thrilled that Apple managed to combine a full-size keyboard, a reasonably large display, and the new "multi-touch" trackpad in such a thin and light notebook? Are you disappointed by the lack of Firewire, upgradable memory, and replaceable battery? Do you think it is a great value for a subnotebook or do you think it costs too much? Why or why not?" Contribute your ideas.

In case you missed one, Q&As since the last major update include:

  • What are the differences between the MacBook Air configuration options?
  • What are the differences between the iPod touch and the iPhone?
  • What applications are available for the iPhone? Will third-party applications be available in the future?
  • What audio and video formats does the Apple TV support? Does it support video streaming and purchase directly from the Internet?
  • Are there any modern web browsers for MacOS 9?
