This update of EveryMac.com features a comprehensive update to the Windows on Mac Q&A, an all new "By Capability & Identifier" listing, and additional information regarding technical architecture and Windows compatibility on Intel Mac specs pages.
Just like all Intel Mac specs pages, EveryMac.com's Ultimate Mac Comparison feature now also includes additional details on processor architecture, custom processor speeds, EFI architecture, and supported Windows versions for all Intel-based Macs to further enhance dynamic side-by-side comparison.

To help those unfortunate ones who have to use Windows, the Windows on Mac Q&A has been updated completely. It covers Windows XP, Windows Vista, and Windows 7 using Apple Boot Camp, Parallels Desktop for Mac, VMWare Fusion, CodeWeavers CrossOver Mac, Sun VirtualBox, and more.
Questions answered include everything from "Which Intel Macs are capable of booting the 32-bit and 64-bit versions of Windows XP, Windows Vista, and Windows 7? Which are supported by Apple's Boot Camp?" to "How does the performance of Parallels Desktop for Mac 5 compare to VMWare Fusion 3? How does the performance compare for productivity applications? How does it compare for games?" as well as many others.
The "By Capability & Identifier" section now provides a new "Maximum Windows" listing. If you are not familiar with the now fourteen "By Capability & Identifier" listings, these provide a convenient one page "run down" of a particular capability or identifier for G3 and later Macs.
For example, the "AirPort Capabilities" listing shows all G3 and later Macs on a single page with information about which models support 802.11b, 802.11g, 802.11n or none of the above and whether or not the particular standard of AirPort was pre-installed. The new "Maximum Windows" listing, likewise, lists official and unofficial Windows compatibility of each Intel Mac on a single page.
It is hoped that you enjoy these significant additions to EveryMac.com and find the site even more useful than before.
In case you missed one, a selection of Q&As since the last major update include:

Added new fields across Intel Mac specs pages:
Updated the Windows on Mac Q&A.
