This update of EveryMac.com spins-off all Intel-based custom processor configurations as their own models and adds complete details on the GSM-equipped iPhone 4 now available unlocked in the US. Geekbench benchmarks also have been updated sitewide and now include both 32-bit and 64-bit performance numbers.
The latest official 32-bit and 64-bit Geekbench benchmarks are provided on G3 and newer Mac specs pages, as a single page rundown, and within EveryMac.com's Ultimate Mac Comparison for dynamic side-by-side performance evaluation.
As requested by readers, all custom processor configurations for Intel-based Macs -- 58 different configurations in total -- have been spun-off as their own models to make these systems easier to locate and identify. Just as before, these custom configurations remain noted within the specs for each stock model under the "Custom Speeds" field. The custom configurations and stock models also are crosslisted for convenience.
To accommodate this enhanced listing of the custom configuration options for Intel Macs, the Currently Shipping, By Year, By Processor, By Case Type, By Capability, and By Identifier Mac specs listings have been updated. Global Original Mac Prices have been updated as well.
The Ultimate Mac Comparison and Ultimate Mac Lookup features likewise have been updated accordingly.
It is hoped that you enjoy these significant additions to EveryMac.com and find the site even more useful than before.
